A consistent quantum field theoretical approach to Kondo‐type pairing in heavy fermion superconducting systems is presented. This pairing mechanism allows both “singlet” and “triplet”, as well as l > 1 pairing, depending on the system parameters. Associated with the superconducting transition is the appearance of hybridization (dielectric gap) between localized f‐states and the conduction band. The parquet approximation is used to calculate the superconducting and excitonic (dielectric) gaps.
