The interesting spin model, proposed in 1980 by Onyszkiewicz, involving a special two‐ion coupling of fourth order, is known to describe well and easily the spontaneous metamagnetism. Here one examines its possible power to describe also other classes of metamagnetism. For this purpose, thermodynamic properties of the model are calculated for many different values of interaction parameters. Indeed, two further classes of magnetism are found in some regions of the interaction space. Such a result confirms the supposed versatility of the model.
