Abstract The simple double‐valued band representations of the space groups C   2h 1 , C   2h 3 , C   2h 5 , C   2h 6 , D   2h 1 , D   2h 6 , D   2h 11 ‐D   2h 19are generated. These space groups describe the symmetry of the most widely spread low‐symmetry crystal structures. The dependence of the band representations on the choice of origin and setting in the space group description is discussed.
