Calculation of Electrical Resistivity of Some Liquid Metals by the Mode‐Coupling Method

The resistivities and temperature coefficients of resistivity (TCR) of some liquid metals (Ag, Au, Fe, Ni, Eu) are calculated by the mode‐coupling approximation method of Götze and compared with respective experimental values. Good agreement is found for some of them. The sign of TCR is closely related to the variations in the values of the electron‐phonon coupling parameter.
