Partial atom distribution functions and short‐range order parameters are calculated for multicomponent (ternary) alloys on the face‐centered cubic lattice. The Monte Carlo method is used to obtain estimates for these quantities for the first five coordination shells. The results are compared with those predicted by an approximate short‐range order theory of multicomponent solid solutions and good agreement is observed between them.
