EPR and photo‐EPR experiments are reported performed on LEC‐grown GaP:Ti with different Fermi‐level positions. An isotropic signal with g = 1.952 and a linewidth of 20.0 mT is assigned to Ti   Ga 2+ . The position of the Ti   Ga 2+ /Ti   Ga 3+acceptor level is located at (0.5 ± 0.1) eV below the conduction band minimum.
