The integral and differential equations for the polarization eigenmodes of the dielectric interface systems are given by making use of the macroscopic electric field caused by the bulk and interface polarization charges. It is shown that the polarization eigenmodes should be normalized according to the ortho‐normalized relation interpreted in the text. It is also shown that the interaction of the charged particles with SO phonons can be described by Fröhlich‐like coupling constant α SO characterizing the interface system.
