Optical properties of multi‐layer structures with, an arbitrary number of layers are considered on the basis of the polariton theory. The reflectivity, transmissivity, and absorptivity of periodic structures are found in terms of elementary functions. The optical characteristics are calculated for superlattices GaAs/Ga 1− x Al x As with different number of periods.
