Perturbation theory is used to study corrections to the sine‐Gordon soliton, in a classical onedimensional anisotropic antiferromagnet in an external field, arising from the influence of lattice discreteness. It is shown, that for TMMC, at the temperatures where most experiments have been done, the corrections are very small and can be neglected.
