The spontaneous resistivity anisotropy of Fe‐based alloys measured at low temperatures and the quotient of the residual sub‐band resistivities of the majority and minority spin‐band electrons are obviously strongly related. It can be shown that a theoretical expression derived for the spontaneous resistivity anisotropy of Ni‐based alloys represents the data of Fe‐based alloys, too. Other existing theoretical relations for the spontaneous resistivity anisotropy are analysed.
