The spin‐flip electron‐magnon scattering in the europium compounds (e.g. EuO) in the presence of intense laser light is considered. A kinetic equation for electrons is derived from which the spinflip absorption coefficient, α SF , is obtained. It is found that in the limit of ultra‐strong fields α SF , is vanishing small as a consequence of the weakening of the electron‐magnon interaction under such intense electromagnetic fields.
