Using the Monte Carlo method the cluster structure of a two‐dimensional lattice gas model is investigated. The ratios Γ s and Γ ε of the perimeter S and boundary energy ε of a cluster to its size are studied over a wide temperature interval. For all temperatures, beyond some characteristic temperature‐dependent cluster size l 0 , Γ S and Γ ε are found to be independent of l . The temperature dependences of the ratios of the perimeter and energy of a cluster to its size, of the mean size of clusters, and of the vacant‐site concentration of occupied‐site clusters in a two‐dimensional system are studied.
