Self‐consistent continued‐fraction (SCCF) theory of the Falicov‐Ramirez‐Kimball (F‐R‐K) metalnonmetal transitions in 1D binary alloys, both with statistical short‐range order and purely random, is presented. Results for sets of critical parameters, and those of interest, are then given and shown that the F‐R‐K transitions depend, sensitively, upon the higher spatial correlations (HSC) in these alloys.
