Abstract The problem is considered of the distribution of fields produced by dislocations in piezocrystals. The behaviour of the fields is analyzed for all possible dislocations available in b.c.c. crystals (in particular, with the sphalerite lattice) and in crystals with wurtzite lattice (existence of the radial and tangential component E ; initiation of polarization vortexes). A considerable reduction in the symmetry of elastic stress fields is revealed for mixed dislocations in b.c.c. crystals.
