An interionic potential model is formulated for rare‐gas solids by considering the effect of three‐body interactions, zero‐point energy, and thermal contributions. The model is applied to evaluate compression curves for Ne, Ar, Kr, and Xe, up to a pressure of about 20 kbar at their triple‐point temperatures. The calculated and experimental results are found in good agreement with each other.
