The theoretical models and their accompanying procedures described in the first paper of this series are applied to the interpretation of the fluorescence spectrum under magnetic field of Sm 2+ in BaClF and SrClF. The good agreement between theory and experiment testifies to the quality of the parameters involved in the zero‐field Hamiltonian.
