High‐magnetic field magnetization data are reported on Cd 1− x Mn x S alloys, with x = 3% and 15%. Effective parameters describing the Mn—Mn interaction are deduced. Spin‐flip Raman scattering from donors provides a measure of the s—d exchange interaction.
