On the basis of the present knowledge on the analytical behaviour of the thermodynamic functions in three regions: dense degenerate electron‐fluid, low‐density electron gas, and Wigner lattice, Padé approximations are constructed. The proposed formulae cover the entire (non‐relativistic) range of density and temperature and are for T = 0 in good agreement with the points found recently by Monte Carlo calculations.
