Surface phonon‐polaritons in a bilayer system consisting of two dielectric media with local, frequency‐dependent dielectric functions are studied. The dispersion relation for p‐polarized polaritons is derived. The dispersion curves and electric fields of surface phonon‐polaritons are presented for various cases in graphical form.
