A method for the determination of the long‐range interparticle interaction energies in alloys from the experimentally measured short‐range order parameters is presented. This way of determining which is based on the Monte Carlo method is applied to the problem of calculating of the first five pair interaction energies in Cu 3 Au. The results are compared with those obtained through the analytical theories of ordering.
