By using the method of OPW‐pseudopotential (OPW‐PP) the ordering energy of copper—gold alloys, the short‐range and long‐range order structures, and the transition temperature are calculated. In many parameters the calculated values are in good agreement with the experimental ones. The level of approximation and the ways of the further development of the theory are discussed.
