In the framework of a microscopic model general expressions for the components of the gyration and electrogyration tensors for dielectric crystals are obtained. The lattice contributions to the effects and contributions from single ions (or ionic complexes) are separated. The temperature and frequency dependences of the components of the calculated tensors are analyzed.
