The process of spontaneous radiation from ultrarelativistic electrons and positrons in planar channels (the Kumakhov effect) is studied by means of computer modelling. The energy loss for radiation is investigated depending on the angle of particle in the crystal. A significant difference in the absolute energy losses of electrons and positrons is noted.
