The magnetoabsorption of Cd 1— x Mn x Te is measured for 0.00 ≦ x ≦ 0.10 at temperatures 1.6 to 50 K. A complicated exciton spectra consisting of split ground and excited states are observed. As a result of phenomenological analysis a continuous transition between the spectra of pure CdTe and CdMnTe is found.
