On the diamagnetism of deep impurities in quantized semiconductor films

The diamagnetic susceptibility (DS) of one‐electron deep impurity centres (DIC) in quantized semiconductor films is calculated. For electrons in bound DIC states Lucovsky's model with the wave function meeting the boundary conditions on the film surface is taken. For certain values of the impurity centre coordinates the DS dependence on film thickness L with fixed zero range potential capacity is studied. The results of Lucovsky's model for massive semiconductors in the limiting case L → ∞ are obtained.
