The results of inelastic neutron scattering experiments on Pr x (La, Y) 1– x Al 3 are presented. CEF Hamiltonian is obtained and the concentration dependence of CEF‐parameters is analyzed. Possible reasons of transition widening between the CEF levels in ternary alloys are considered. Experimental evidence of magnetic excitation dispersion is found and the exchange interaction constant is determined.
