A Lennard‐Jones potential is used to calculate the formation and binding energies for a monovacancy, divacancy, and trivacancy in α‐Zr. Stable divacancy and trivacancy configurations are found. The displacement fields, dipole force tensors, and relaxed volumes of the vacancy clusters are also calculated.
