The electronic heat capacity of Nb is obtained from the experimental specific heat data between 10 and 350 K. The heat capacity of the lattice is determined by using the available data on phonon density of states. It is shown, that the electronic specific‐heat coefficient is dependent on temperature. Comparisons are made with the theoretical works of Masharov and Grimvall. The qualitative fit is quite good.
