The classical‐spin Bethe‐Peierls‐Weiss method is used to determine the Curie temperature and the paramagnetic susceptibility of amorphous ferromagnets. Due to the structure fluctuations of the coordination number a decrease of the Curie temperature and the paramagnetic susceptibility is found in comparison with the corresponding crystalline case. The same formalism is employed to study the chemical disorder introduced by substituting magnetic impurities in a non‐magnetic amorphous host. It is shown that the critical concentration of magnetic atoms for the appearance of long‐range magnetic order is increased by fluctuations of the coordination number.
