The spectrum of intermediate‐radius polaron at strong coupling g ≫ 1 is evaluated with the help of a new diagram technique. The bound states of the polaron with a large number of phonons N = 2 g 2 are found. In the case of an exciton, these states give rise to additional strong peaks in the absorption and luminescence spectra.
