Localization of 3d‐like electrons at the atomic cores of the components of the b.c.c. alloys Cr 1− x Fe x and V 1− x Fe x is determined on the ground of positron annihilation and Mössbauer effect data and by taking into account certain assumptions concerning the interpretation of these results. For V 1− x Fe x the electron transfer from Fe to V occurs in the whole concentration interval. In the case of Cr 1− x Fe x the transfer from Fe to Cr takes place only for x < 0.65, whereas for x > 0.80 the opposite transfer (from Cr to Fe) occurs.
