Abstract The electronic phase transitions in ferromagnetic semiconductors connected with redistribution of electrons between localized and band states due to s‐d Coulomb and exchange interactions and hybridization is investigated. There are several regions on the phase diagram of the system at T = 0 with integral or mixed valence. The temperature behaviour is determined by the ground state and the transition between different valence state may be smooth as well as sharp.
