The susceptibility and the specific heat of spin glasses in the presence of an external magnetic field are calculated within the frame of Edwards' and Andersons theory. The quantum Heisenberg Hamiltonian is used with exchange interactions distributed randomly about a positive mean. The field dependence of the susceptibility and the specific heat are compared with the experimental data near the spin glass transition temperature.
