The dispersion and damping of Alfvén waves propagating through bismuth samples are calculated for the two Voigt configurations: B ∥ C 2 , q ∥ C 1 , E ∥ C 3 and B ∥ C 3 , q ∥ C 1 , E ∥ C 2 by means of a non‐local formalism developed earlier. A comparison with experimentally observed results is performed for a number of frequencies of the incoming microwaves.
