The deformed surface described by some parameters has been studied by Volkenstein [1] in 1947 and by Steslicka [2] in 1974 in the non‐relativistic case. In this paper, the study is extended to the relativistic case. When the parameters take certain values, the relativistic equations of the deformed surface correspond to the relaxation, segregation, or relaxation‐segregation case, respectively. When c → ∞, i.e. for the non‐relativistic limit, the equations will approach the results obtained by Steslicka.
