An attempt is made to investigate the nonlinear parametric interaction of acoustic waves in n‐type piezoelectric semiconductors, the nonlinearity arising from the nonlinear transport property of electrons. The equations of mechanical motion and of electricity supplemented by basic equations of piezoelectric media are used to solve the problem. In the present analysis the gain of energy of the signal wave is theoretically investigated for different amplitudes of the pump wave, assuming the interaction to be of degenerate type and the drift velocity of electrons exactly equal to the sound wave.
