A theory of planar channelling of relativistic positrons taking into account multiple scattering, bremsstrahlung on valence electrons, and spontaneous radiation at channelling is developed. The dependence of the energy losses on the impact parameter leads to a stronger broadening of the angular distribution of channelled particles.
