The harmonic model potential is used in its nonlocal form to study the temperature variation of the electrical resistivity of liquid Zn, Cd, Hg, Al, In, Tl, and Pb. The variation of the electrical resistivity with temperature is well demonstrated by the model and the numerical values are consistent with the experimental measurements in all the cases, except Hg.
