Starting from a resistivity formula the electrical resistivity of substitutional alloys with partial long and short‐range orders is calculated. Restrictions for the distance dependence of the Cowley short‐range order parameters are derived. In the weak scattering limit the resistivity contributions caused by precipitations and AB ordering effects are discussed.
