On the basis of classical and quantum theories the dynamics of electron scattering on a crystalline lattice in the presence of a strong electromagnetic wave is investigated. A condition is found under which coherent energy exchange takes place between the electron and external radiation along the lattice length. It makes possible the electron acceleration in crystals and leads to the effect of an electron beam space bunching.
