Calculations are made of all the kinetic coefficients for semimetallic materials of Hg 1− x Cd x Te type related with resonance electron scattering at the quasi‐local acceptor levels. The results are compared with experiments. It is shown that at low temperatures all the characteristic features of kinetic coefficients are explained satisfactorily on the basis of the considered mechanism. It is also shown that this scattering mechanism gives a change of sign of the thermo‐electromotive force versus pressure and temperature.
