The elastic and inelastic exciton—exciton scattering is regarded. Exact expressions for the scattering matrix are obtained in the long‐wave approximation for any molecular crystal. Calculations for the exciton—exciton scattering in anthracene are carried out and two possible values for the dynamical interaction between excitons are obtained by using the experimental data on the nonlinear fluorescence quenching of excitons.
