EPR results for vanadyl ion doped Rochelle salt are reported. Impurity sites in the unit cell, and the molecular structure of the VO(tartrate) 2 complex in the crystal are found and the spin‐Hamiltonian parameters are determined at room temperature. A considerable non‐axiality of the g and A tensors and the MO bonding coefficients are discussed. The EPR spectra are not affected by the phase transitions.
