A systematic temperature investigation of the Shubnikov‐de Haas effect in Hg 1− x Mn x Se is reported. Band parameters are determined including exchange parameters which are characteristic for semimagnetic semiconductors and responsible for the anomalous temperature dependence of spin split energy levels. The effective mass is determined from the ShdH amplitude in restricted higher temperature region. The exchange parameters are used as adjustable parameters to fit the observed ShdH peak positions at all measuring temperatures.
