The optical parametric oscillator involving the analogue of the inverse Čerenkov effect is considered for the case when the pumping (with a frequency ω p ) consists of two plane waves incident at two different angles onto an optical waveguide (terminated by mirrors). Here, a bistability of the oscillator output emission (with frequencies ω s , ω v satisfying the relation ω s + ω r = ω p ) and hysteresis phenomena caused by the bistability are shown to be realized. Also, bistability and hysteresis phenomena are shown to appear in the weaves with the frequency ω p reflected from (transmitted through) the waveguide layer, and in the waves with new frequencies 2ω s , 2ω r which are due to the transformation of the pumping in the waveguide layer.
