It is shown that a layer structure due to precipitations or dislocations may lead to geometrical resonances in the dynamical scattering of carriers. Maximum scattering is obtained for frequencies, for which a multiple of the wavelengths of the plasmons and of the free carriers, respectively, is equal to the separation of the layers.
