An approximate analytical expression for the second‐order‐self energy for the symmetric Anderson Hamiltonian is obtained. It is shown that the results become exact at high temperatures and are very reasonable for the whole range of temperature and energy. This causes that the method can be relatively easily used for higher order terms making the most competent discussion of the Anderson model to be possible.
