The electronic spectrum and the assessment of parameters and trends of the 31‐st ternary diamond‐like compound band structure are presented and conditions for possible structural change are defined on their basis. Areas of stability of narrow band semiconductors and semimetals are established. The characteristic features of the electronic compound spectrum in various fields of application are considered. Composition and structure of some compounds having anomalously high melting temperatures are predicted.
