Measurements are made of the temperature dependences of the spin relaxation times T 1 , T 1ϱ , and T 2 of the 23 Na nucleus in the uniaxial ferroelectric AgNa(NO 2 ) 2 . Although none of these quantities shows an anomalous behaviour near T c their temperature dependences can be ascribed to the dynamics of the electric dipoles which cause the ferroelectricity.
