Abstract The paramagnetic susceptibility of disordered alloys is derived from a microscopic Fermi liquid approach for tightly bound electrons at zero temperature. Particle–particle and particle–hole effective vertices are calculated within the coherent local ladder approximation. The correlationenhanced expressions for component and alloy susceptibilities refer to paramagnetic instabilities. Numerical results are presented for partial and total CPA averages of static susceptibilities, magnetizations, and spin‐dependent densities of states.
